The Bonness family has been doing business in Collier County and Lee County for over 35 years. Bonness' roots in the industry began, in 1925, when the family opened a small paving business in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their first experience with the Southwest Florida area harkens back to 1935 when they did a road project in Naples. Subsequently they fell in love with the Gulf Coast but a generation passed before they were able to relocate to Collier County.

Our principal business is site development, road construction and paving. We work in Collier County, Lee County, Hendry County, Charlotee County, Desoto County and Sarasota County. We have earned the privilege of being awarded annual maintenance contracts with the City of Naples, Collier County, and are a preferred provider for Marco Island.

Bonness Inc. employs more than 75 individuals, has over 15 crews handling in excess of 300 jobs annually. In the last five years, the golf course construction division has helped Bonness enjoy a steady growth in business
