About Bonness Inc.

The Bonness family has been doing business in Collier County and Lee County for over 35 years. Bonness' roots in the industry began, in 1925, when the family opened a small paving business in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their first experience with the Southwest Florida area harkens back to 1935 when they did a road project in Naples. Subsequently they fell in love with the Gulf Coast but a generation passed before they were able to relocate to Collier County.

Their principal business is site development, road construction and paving. They contract work primarily in South Lee County and Collier County, and have earned the privilege of being awarded annual maintenance contracts with the City of Naples and are a preferred provider for Marco Island.

Bonness Inc. employs more than 70 individuals, has over 15 crews handling in excess of 300 jobs annually. In the last five years, the golf course construction division has helped Bonness enjoy a steady growth in business
